Many of the most tragic stories are hidden beneath an impressive career. Lolo Jones, winner of USA and World hurdles, has earned this title after a long period working hard and a lot of perseverance. Jones is a child born into a single mother that included five kids living who were stricken by poverty and hardship as a youngster, experienced an extremely challenging childhood. Her mother was constantly moving and she even spent some time living at the bottom of her home. Jones was forced to move into a new school each throughout her senior year due to this sporadic lifestyle. Jones moved away from her mom to Theodore Roosevelt in order for her to focus on her track interest. Jones was a resident of four residences during her high school period to be able to complete her studies at one location. Jones was part of both the orchestra of the school in Iowa as well the Gatorade Track and Field Award. Also, she was awarded this award in school. Jones at the time she was going to college, was regarded as a top hurdler. She won the 100-meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she participated on the runner up team for 100-meter relay. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones was the winner of the indoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship. Career After completing her studies at the end of 2005 Jones began training hard for a track career. In 2005 she won the winner of Torino Memorial race. Torino Memorial race, in 2006, she won one of the Heusden and Ostrava racers.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She emigrated to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt was cast in the role as Naevia in the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was among the main stars of the show, working alongside Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen, a fan-favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character as well as the Vertigo/DC series Lucifer was her role in the cult Netflix show. Forbes acknowledged Lucifer at the end of 2021, as the series with the most amount of viewers who binge watched. Brandt will next appear opposite Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira along with others Walking Dead cast members in the six episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult animated film that will be released on Netflix July 20, 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt is a South African actress who was born in Cape Town, South Africa on the 2nd December 1981. Her talent is impressive as a New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to Auckland, New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland she started her career as a salesperson, and then be promoted to the position of IT manager consultant. Lesley's career began with a couple of model projects. She then appeared in many commercial ads. Her acting degree was completed in 2008 and continued to research Meisner's techniques. The first big acting role for Lesley was on the New Zealand TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt was a guest supporting actress on New Zealand's television drama Shortland Street. She then appeared on the Science-fiction drama series called This Is Not My Life in which the story was based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia as a hostage who was a teenager in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. This character was later shown in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
